Twenty seconds from impact.
The juggernaut raced through the storm, twenty metres behind the Land Cruiser. Only a select few knew its cargo and destination.
Fifteen seconds.
The Land Cruiser approached the hairpin. The driver hit the brakes and skidded on the wet surface.
Ten seconds.
The car hit a ditch and flipped into the abyss of an adjacent field, landed on its roof and caught fire, a bright orange swell in the darkness.
Five seconds.
The driver of the juggernaut saw the house dead ahead, saw the bend. The turn was tight, and he wasn’t going to make it.
Two seconds from impact.
Two seconds, and the world would learn the terrifying truth.
